Becky serves the Apex Arts League as a member of the Executive Board. Ms. Miltenberger has both a musical and legal background, and advises the Executive Board in both areas. She has served on the Executive Board of Apex for over three years.

 

Ms. Miltenberger is a classically trained pianist and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri, where she studied under Van Cliburn Silver Medalist, Santiago Rodriguez. After college, Ms. Miltenberger returned to the University of Missouri for her law degree and graduated as a member of the Law Review Board of Editors and the Order of the Coif. Ms. Miltenberger has practiced law in the areas of Corporate and Securities, Education Law and Estate Planning. She has represented private and governmental entities in organization and planning and has advised such clients regarding administrative and regulatory requirements to which they are subject. 

 

In the past decade, Ms. Miltenberger has served her community of Southlake by election to the Carroll Independent School District Board of Trustees, where as Vice President, she presided over districting, financial, student rights and personnel issues as well as numerous policy and regulation revisions.  Currently, Ms. Miltenberger serves the school district as Coordinator of the Carroll Jazz Band Parent Club, where she volunteers her time to further the education and support of the Jazz Program at Southlake Carroll Senior High School.

 

Ms. Miltenberger and her husband, Chris, have two children who have graduated from Carroll Senior High School and a third who is currently at Carroll and active in the concert and jazz programs there. The Miltenbergers support the arts in Northeast Tarrant County and work to contribute to Apex Arts League’s Mission whenever possible.
